Sources and links
News articles list their sources and link to the reports, announcements or research used in the story. Source dates appear when known. Statements by companies or public officials are attributed to them. A reported claim or benchmark is not treated as an independent finding. The opinion essay by Ararat Ovsepian currently names selected sources without links; those links still need editorial review.
Corrections
Report an error to [Contact email], including the article URL, the statement in question and supporting evidence. This address still needs confirmation. Corrections should identify what changed and why; a substantive correction should include a note on the article. The editor must confirm responsibility for receiving and reviewing reports.
Opinion
The explainer labels its "Our view" section as speculative editorial opinion. Ararat Ovsepian's essay is labelled Opinion. Takeaways from that essay describe the author's argument. Predictions and interpretations should be distinguished from established facts.

Independence and funding
Ads never influence coverage. Advertising and editorial are separate: an advertiser does not receive a right to choose our conclusions, remove criticism or approve articles. Paid placements must be identified as advertising, and opinion must be labelled independently of any advertising relationship. An advertising enquiry is not an editorial commission.
